I sought God on many ocassions as to when it was the right time to purchase a house. I made several attempts. I went to the first time homebuyers classes hoping to qualify for the grant. That fell through. I tried going in together with my mom. That fell through. Over a period of 3 years I tried. I began another attempt back in April 2007. I was preapproved and begun my search. I couldn't find a house that I liked within my price range and with the type of things I wanted in the house. I finally found a house, with the help of God, that was affordable. I was heading into closing and my mortgager changed the terms of our agreement. I was frazzeled. But I continued to trust the Lord and two days before I was supposed to settled I got a new mortgager and he took me all the way through the closing process. I finally closed on Aug 17, 2007. God opened the door for me.. Although with many oppositions, I finally own my house and I look forward to building a home. One that is pleasing to the Lord. I had a dedication and I will be moving in soon. Praise the Lord for coming through for me. I really saw Him move on my behalf. WWM has truly been a blessing for me. This is all new for me, and I can actually say that fellowshiping with the women of the word is such a great feeling. I encourage all who are not attending to attend because I have only been to one fellowhip with them so far, and that one has truly been a blessing for me because I have learned soooo many new things. Because of WWM I now understand about "fasting" and the different types of "fasts". Our last WWM session was such a blessing. Our topic of discussion, was How to Live a Balance Life. "The Christ Centered Woman" We looked at how we actully spent our time, and what would be the idea way in which to spend our time. This ministry has helped me to see how I can elminate idol time, and use my time more effectively, to move towards the Christ centered goals that God has set for my life, and how not to feel so much under pressure from doing things at the last minute. I am praying about, and learning how to be more content with the ways in which I spend my time. I pray Gods continual blessings on our Frist Lady and Family, and our WWM. I would recommend that anyone who has not join one of the Care Circle Book Clubs do so. It is a unique opportunity to share your thoughts and read Godly books along with other women who desire to learn more of the purpose God has for their lives. It is insightful to hear different persectives on what you have read. It was truely a blessing to apply what I learned in our care circle to my life. Praise God!! - Sharon (7/10/2003)

We were truly blessed on Friday night at our Care Circle book club. The women who attended are women hungry for God's purpose in their lives. It was a blessing to see so many girls, come out to the kick off celebration of Word Girls. They listened attentivly , and took in all that our guest speaker,and First Lady had to say. I beleive that this ministry is much needed, and is making an impact on many lives. With all of the influences that surround girls and can affect them in a negative way, it is good to know that God has given us a positive influences through Word Girls. Our Word Girl Kick off Session was tremendous on Friday night. We had good attendance and many others came out in support of our Word Girls. The speaker blessed the girls with a lesson on who they are in Christ. Five girls gave their lives to Jesus. Halelujah. Our WWM Praise and Worship singers ministered with the annointing. Truly greater things are to come to touch the lives of our girls as they grow into faithful women of God. Praise God for His faithfullness and for the truth of His Word!! - Regina (6/14/2003)

What a blessed time we had on Sunday morning. Our Women's prayer group began and yes, we were in the midst of God's presence. The women in our group are such giving spirits, that when asked about their needs for prayer, their focus was on others and not themselves. This ministry has truly been a blessing to me. The last session was about self-esteem, a very challenging question was asked, "where do you get your confidence, from your inner self or from your outside, and how much time do you spend on both". Well as I began to ponder the question I realized I spend to much time working on my outer appearance, I spend a hour and a half each morning preparing for work, and a hour each night preparing for bed with all the facial products(creams, masks, srubs, lotions, ect) I work out for 30 minutes 5 times a week. That's to much work on the outside. This has chanlleged me to change my routine, and I love my new schedule. I am so thankful for this ministry, and Regina Davis. - Beatrice Sampson (5/16/2003)

WWM has been a blessing to me because I Love doing things to help others, it gives me great pleasure and it blesses me to know that I can be a help to someone else. Women of the Word Ministries is a God ordained ministry. This ministry will be a blessing to women amd girls throught the world. Men, too will be blessed by this ministry. Women of the Word offers sound Biblical teaching combined with Christian counseling. It is a unique ministry, which reinforces the teachings of Christ, by meeting the spiritual, emotional and physical needs of women.
